Only if I'm the lead rider, maintains a steady speed for the group and helps to reduce the accordion affect. Mid pack, I'm constantly adjusting my speed to match the person in front and maintain the gap
Use it if it makes sense. If it's causing a problem, don't.
My personal experience is that it's more annoying than it's worth, as each bike seems to be slightly different than the next and never on the same speed. You're either closing on the bike ahead of you or opening a gap and constantly adjusting

Me either, but the last forum I mentioned it within the context of a tech issue I received mostly just comments on using CC while riding in a group. Surprised me.
I find that the cruise control never perfectly matches other bikes. I'll set the cruise to match the bike ahead of me, but after a mile or so I always find that I've closed in or fallen back a distance. Even tapping the +/- button never gets it bang on. When group riding I usually have the cruise off and just click it on from time to time to give my wrist a rest.
It would be nice if Harley introduced an adaptive cruise control.

That's what I do.... if I"m in lead, set the cruise and maintain speed. If I'm mid-pack I'll set cc and adjust to try to maintain. But then alot depends on what kind of group I'm riding in.
