I found the part and ordered it from Surdyke, $42. I guess we'll find out whether it works or not...
Just as a follow-up, I just got the shift rod and installed it. It works fine, the splines line up perfectly, and yes it wraps around the back of the shift linkage instead of the front, but it's nice glossy black instead of that nasty chrome. It does seem like it needs a little spacer; the spacer that was on the stock Fat Bob control is too thick for it, and it seems a little loose without it, so I'll probably have to try to pick up a different spacer, but other than that, yes you can use the 2016/2017 CVO Pro Breakout shift rod to replace the chrome one on the Fat Bob.
Great. I did find the Fat Bob spacer to be to thick. If memory serves it needed to be 0.125", I had no way to machine it. That is where the AR-15 crush washer came in handy.

Notes:
The 6057 nylon washer was to thick, needed to be .125". Couldn't figure out a way to machine, so substituted for AR15 crush washer. Lowes does have thinner nylon washers but they are white.
I find the brake pedal is a little lower that I would like, can be adjusted. A 9/16" open end spanner with thin jaws is required.
The Parts Guy at my dealer was very helpful, hope yours is the same.
Hello I have extra registered here in the forum. I'm from Germany and would like to have pre-laid footpegs. My question is the parts list really complete or missing a part. I would otherwise order it here in Germany at harley and grow it myself but I have to be sure if everything is complete.
