Dude! Really? WTF. My HD shop told me it would be this summer, and he's putting me on the list for when they come in. I guess Cali would know better than NJ, especially Laidlaw. If i was them i would have told me, nope sorry, just to get me off their back.

Yea guy i spoke to Matt put it out there that whole Harley Line for 18 stuff isnt looking great. I doubt he would tell me that as BS knowing its something thats gonna hurt his business. If he believes someone will come out with something before HD my guess is they arent gonna have anything soon. Unless HD drops new parts catalogue and has had everything under wraps. But he didnt sound so confident in HD and offered a hour discount plus my dealer MVP 1 hour discount for service if i go the fatbob way but still feel like im overpaying. Damn you HD!

That's really annoying. I guess they figure that the bike sales will be their money maker to start with. This is my first "new" purchase, so they did get my money. I see a lot of Fat Bob guys wanting to switch to mids too. No disrespect to the height challenged, but maybe the standard height is shorter than i thought. Whatever it is it sucks. My riding season usually ends in October/November, so i can deal with it til then, but next year i will go the Fat Bob route as well. That's good that he is willing to do it for you, and give you a discount. I would over pay if it's not too ridiculous.
On a side note, i'm having the 14" Todd's bars installed next week. Can't wait. The stock mini apes are killing my back cause i have them pushed forward. I cannot get myself to put them lower closer to me, so i'm torturing myself lol. Another height issue
