Yes, it is and mustang backrest. My girl hated the stock and sundowner. she likes this one much more and It fits perfectly with the stock seat.

Does anyone know if you can purchase the windshield brackets without the windshield? I have an extra smaller shield and wanted to switch between the two sizes.

you can do it as all pn are listed in instruction for your shield. I would buy messed up shield with bracket and throw away shield and keep the bracket you will save a lot of $$$

OK, really dumb question: Does a stock '18 heritage have tubeless tires? The sidewall says "tubeless", but the wheel has spokes, but the construction looks like the spokes end well before they get close to the rim.

The stock spoked rims will not hold air and must have tubes in the tires.
