I have the same seat, I also used 12 mini apes and board spacers, then sent the seat to mean city cycles for new foam tail bone cut out etc, and it is the best so far. The bars and board spacers will change up your position and sit you better too. I am 6'3" 34 inseam and about 250 and I am very comfy
Wanted to go back to a topic that has been brought up, but not for a while. I'd say some folks out there have a lot more miles under their belts with some of these seats. I'm 6'3 and every bit of a 34 inseam. I have a Tallboy seat on my Heritage, and while it positions me very well, it is not really the most comfortable seat for my butt. Want to hear from other taller riders on how their experiences have been with some miles put on the seats. I've seen a lot of mention from some other taller folk about Saddlemen Explorer and some with Mustangs. Also interested to hear from Corbin and Lepera owners of taller stature.
Here is a pic of me with the Tallboy to give an idea of the room. I'd love to find a higher quality seat that gives me the same room.
I have a tall boy and sent it to mean city cycles, i am very happy and it is super soft. I only got it back a few week ago and havent had a chance to put any real time in on it. I am also 6'3" and about 250 , I added 12" mini apes and board spacers and it changes you r position from stock very much. maybe other things to think about?

I called Mean City and they're going to do the memory foam addition. Other than the actual comfort, the seat fit me great, so I decided that was a good investment. I might see if they can make the lumbar area more upright.
Did you go with the Harley mini apes? And, what board spaces did you go with?

Yes, for the cost, you can't beat Mean City. Maybe add on $50 +/- for your shipping but still....If you have a seat you like, they are the experts. Rather than spending more $$ on a new new and gambling. New seats are hit or miss unless you do a demo seat with Harley. But then your choices are very limited. Note: The off season is the best time to do this since you will be without a seat for a few weeks.
I would say, however, do the seat first. That way if you get raised up or forward, you can get the bars to fit correctly. Speaking of, you may need cable extensions. I think stock cabling will go up to 12" bars. There are a bunch of threads here somewhere that address all that. Good luck! Post pics when it's done

I had double memory foam, and a tail bone channel. My apes are Carlini evil apes
Question on the low profile shock option. I know it lowers the ride 0.75" but does it also decrease the travel? Is it a stiffer spring? Thanks ahead of time for feedback.
I purchased a 2019 Heritage 114 and put the HD hammock seat on with backrest. I sat about 2’’ higher but it moved my position forward about 1’’.
I’m 6’ with 32 /34 inseam. I’ll leave my weight out of this equation 😆
In July of last year I purchased a 2021 Ultra Limited and I put on the Heated Hammock Seat with movable Backrest and it’s much different in a positive way than the Heritage.
You can Demo different seats through your HD dealerships. I Demoed the seat before buying one for my Ultra.

Good luck Dress for the slide not the ride
Appreciate your perspective, but I'm looking for specs and experience with the low profile shock. Thanks.
Hi !
Sorry to bring the charging topic again but following different advices here and there I opted to get a NOCO booster GB50 and the jumpstart cables kit that is designed to stay on the bike.
I thought I would discard the stock SAE cables and put the NOCO cables but when I pulled the battery I discovered that those stock SAE are not directly bolted to the battery like they were on my Dyna.
They seems to be plugged somewhere else in the tray.
Now, that would be a good news because I already have an Optimate 6 charger that uses the SAE.
The NOCO cables on the other hand are meant to be bolted to the battery.
The question is :
Can I put the NOCO and the SAE on the bike ?
The SAE to charge, the NOCO to jumpstart.
Is there any risk for the SAE cables if I have to jumpstart the bike (using the NOCO port, of course) ?
I just purchased a 2018 107 Heritage Classic with 600 miles. Now I keep reading this issue with the oil pump on early M8 engines. Is this a big concern? I'm thinking if it was, Harley would have put out a recall. The bike has a 2 year warranty. Figured if anything goes wrong, they will fix it.
