Has anyone else had a problem with the Grasshopper backrest bending?
If I'm on a long ride I do lean back against the backrest a lot.
And before anyone suggests I could lose a bit of weight, I'm 174 lbs, so not a gargantuan!
I know I’m late to this particular party, but my grasshopper was pretty-much useless. Too flimsy to be of any benefit
(I’m coming back to a Heritage and re-reading this whole thread!)
I had the same issue with my grasshopper and when I called them they told me that they changed steel suppliers with a stronger, stiffer gauge steel because of complaints. They sent me a new one and I haven’t had a problem.
You might want to consider those pullback risers. Lot of tall guys use them...
I am 63 & I have the tall boy seat and a set of mini apes from Carlini they are 12 evil apes I have never been more comfortable now I could use a higher windshield
Have any of you guys tried the Cycle Visions Bare Back quick detach bolts for your bags? I didn't know they made a quick-detach system for the newer Heritage until I found these. Just wondering if they're any good?
