My new 2018 Heritage is starting to grow on me but I have a few issues, one being a deal breaker if I can't keep the wife happy. Every bike we've ever owned has had passneger hand rails for her to hold onto. The Heritage does not.. I thought about buying some handles and bolting them to the factory bags but that has the obvious drawback of damaging those bags, I see some aliexpress options if I use my aluminum top case but it looks stupid.. anyone have any ideas? she wants something to hold onto in the corners, railway tracks etc. The leather strap on the seat doesn't work well and she doesn't want to hold onto me.
Other issues are she has a lack of leg room which floorboards might help, the exhaust is really loud, gets annoying pretty quick but I am hoping I can find soemone who wants to trade me for their stock exhaust and then I need a higher windsheild I get some crazy buffeting. Not sure how much money I want to throw at these issues!
Where are you located? Probably some owners around who have stock exhaust laying around and would be happy to get rid of them!
Tenny 80, use earplugs. Find ones that fit well and in a couple of rides you will be used to them. A rider backrest would give her something better to hold on to.
Unfortunately those are way to low for her arms to reach, I had her sit on the bike and she's at least a few inches away from even touching them without bending over.

Very interested! Where are you located?

I've never had the need for earplugs on previous bikes unless I am going on the interstates but that would help for sure! I'd prefer just to go with stock pipes though. We do already have a backrest.

I have chrome stock mufflers from a 2021. I'm in Massachusetts. You'd have to pay shipping. I can dig them out and make sure there are no storage scuffs.
Fork wind deflectors (aka fangs) have been around forever....
Here's a (not so great) pic of them on my older TwinCam Slim....

Another vote for fangs. 2022 I was riding to Fla and rode through the reminiscence of hurricane Nicole (I hit it in North Carolina where it had been down graded to a tropical storm). The buffeting was deafening. That was the point I realized the buffeting was coming from underneath the windshield. (as opposed to around it)
I installed a set of fangs shortly after and the buffeting was solved.
