Whats up,Lowriders
i just got the bike a week ago and still haven't gotten a chance to ride it .its been raining since i got it.so the only mod i have done to the bike is a Willie G derby cover
.this is my wish list
i love the look of the street bob ,(basically i love bobbers and choppers)
Big radius pipes
*change out the handle bars .
change out the all the foot pegs
chrome covers for the controls, and anything else i can chrome out ,(love chrome)
different grips
bobber fender (stock street bob )
bobber seat (stock street bob )
My questions
i want to change out the handle bars but want to maintain the stock cables. how big can i go with min apes (simualr to the street bob ,but in chrome)
i didn't get the street bob. for few reasons , one small tank 3.5 gallon Vs 5gallon ,and i dont like spoke rims..and didn't like how HD use shiny black parts mixed with satin black parts , HD should have gone one route , shiny or satin , not both .just my opinion.
Falcon195 - Yes the fuel gauge is part of the display on the speedometer. As for the other two issues I haven’t had a problem but mine bike only has 250 miles on it.
That's funny, I think the coil looks great, all business. I even run the S&S Stealth air cleaner without cover so I can get some black down to business balance on each side of the engine.
I think sumping as an issue is overblown due to the internet. Any Harley engine can sump if conditions are bad, such as very high RPM for a sustained amount of time, poor condition of the scavenge side of the oil pump, etc. I don't baby mine and I have no oil issues.
Just returned to the HD fold with a 2018 Softail Low Rider in Red. I've added a windshield and waiting on the luggage rack/docking accessories. I'm like many in that I'm dodging rain storms to get some riding in. Great to have a place for us in this forum.
