Hey M8_Softails, which windshield is that? Do you like it?
--jam
It is the HD model below. I still get a lot of wind and noise. I got a lot less wind and noise on my Road King. Maybe a taller/wider one would be better. It's better than nothing though. It seems like I had less wind on my old Fat Bob and Breakout.
Wind Splitter Quick-Release Compact 18 in. Windshield
Does anyone know of a manufacturer offering a solo seat for my 18 Low Rider? The HD Sundowner seat is two up and looks so bulky. I've had Mustang or Ultimate Solo Seats in the past but so far neither is offering an option.

Do any of you notice much vibration on your low rider's with stock bars?
Not much at all. I have some nerve damage in one of my arms that makes it super sensitive, so if I had "much vibration" I'd notice. Is it just when you're rolling? Could it he a wheel balance thing?

It's not a wheel balance issue. The only vibration is in the bars. I just figured it was the shape of the bars that transmitted vibration more. It is not that bad so I will ignore and keep an eye on it...
Good to see you got 'em to work with the mustache bar. When I put that on my FXLR I figured forward controls wouldn't work. Still gonna wait to see what HD comes out with before trying to piece them together.
Well, I have seen the posts for everyone to post their 18 fatboys/heritage/slim but not for the lowrider! So, here we go! Please post your 18 lowrider and list your mods! I'll start.
BTW, look up "Harley M8 Softail Owners Group" on facebook!
Encourage everyone to post their bikes, list your mods and ask any questions so we can all help each other and hopefully learn what everyone is doing to help each other find stuff, it's not been easy so far!
This is my 18 FXLR
Mods so far:
1) HD Windshield (I'm currently looking for the other style with the chrome trim across the front)
2) Custom Dynamics front and rear LED's with smoked lenses
3) De-reflectored
4) Lay down license plate mount
5) RCX 3.0 Slip ons (They sound awesome!)
6) Avon Memory foam grips
7) 3" risers (Looking into changing bars, just waiting for someone else to do it to find out cables and stuff first!)
8) Endscuoio swing arm bag (I THINK I may actually add saddle bags... IDK yet)
9) Ventilator Air Cleaner
10) Power Vision Tuner
11) HD backrest w/ the matching pad
Soon to come mods:
1) Woods 22x cam install (Going in Tuesday!)
2) Forward controls from a breakout (Should be here by the end of next week!)
3) Maybe a sundowner seat. ( I like that it matches the backrest, I just want to see one on a bike first!)
4) Bars
5) different windshield
6) Chrome side covers off a deluxe
7) Bags (The HD ones are okay, but I don't like having to move my turn signals... don't like the look... and haven't seen the endscuoio ones in person.)
8) possibly change to big radius pipes (the rcx pipes sound AWESOME but always wanted big radius pipes, I actually ordered them then canceled b/c the first batch doesn't have the passenger peg relocation kit with them)
9) chrome lowers
10) chrome the wheels
