Installed the FPE Quiet Baffle this morning and took it for a spin WOW! What a HUGE difference!
It still has that deep exhaust note (but not as obnoxious as before) but the difference in the ride is phenominal!
I can roll off the throttle without it going all "lumpy" and can "pretty much" ride it at 30mph in 3rd; 40mph in 4th albeit it still wants to pull.
I now know and understand the reason with regards to my previous comments about it being so "lumpy" and having to be "on the throttle" = reversion
I may well experiment with the standard baffle by putting in a DK Customs TTI
...but, to be honest, I'm more than happy with the way it is now.

Cant speak for your personal experience of course, but I'm on my 3rd fat boy and on pretty much all 3 of them I would consider 30m mph in 3rd gear to be darn close to lugging the engine
and would feel pretty lumpy with a high performance cam, and I'm not a high speed, high rpm guy. I like low rpm cruising but if I get much below 2k its feelin lumpy
^^^^^Hopefully, weather permitting, will get out on the bike this weekend so I can see what my RPMs are.
The color of the air filter cover is far too much - sticks out too much - so going to get my painter to do his magic.
Well I decided I had to paint my Air Filter cover...
Being that it was Anodized Orange meant that I had to rough-up the surface with some emery paper to get a key surface, used some grey Etch Primer followed by 2-3 coats of Gloss Black.
(Later on down the line I'll give it to my painter to put some flames on it).

She looks spectacular
I was out on my 2025 on Tuesday and at 30 mph in 3rd gear I was around 1800-1850ish rpm. Definitely getting into the "chug chug chug" range. I have a pretty fat cam though (RS528)
might be more chuggy than yours at that speed/gear

Useful to know so that I can see where I'm at when I go for a spin.

So I was out on my 2023 Sport Glide (Stage 1) today to see what RPMs I was riding/changing gear at (mainly to use as a comparison for when I take the Fat Boy out)
I'm cruising at between 1900-2200 RPMs in each gear. "Chug chug" mode is @1700-1800ish. When opening it up, I'm changing at @2500-2700ish RPMs.
I'm certainly no speed demon LOL!
