Been a while and things have changed so posting update here--as it stands now - except sold mustang seat as it wasn't all that much better than HD and now have backrest that works well with HD seat -- ugly but works

I cant remember if I post in this thread or not, but heres my 18 FLFBS. Ive done a Bassani Road Rage III, Metzeler Cruisetecs, the footpeg conversion, HD Engine Guard, removed all the reflectors, added a LePera Bare Bones, Profile Slotted mirrors, HD Get-A-Grips and an HD Swingarm bag.
How's the clearance on the Gen-3 Bassani's? Is it better than the Gen-1/2's? Been thinking about getting a set of these but I'm just worried about the clearance in the turns.

i don’t have experience with any of the other generations. The pipe is definitely lowered than a lot of others out there. That being said, I don’t have a problem with it scraping but I am aware of it and I do try to be careful.
if I really wanna go knee down and attack the twisties, I have other bikes that are better for that stuff. For just “regular fun” riding on curvy country roads, the Fatboy with the Bassani does just fine.
