your not alone, i just picked up a 18 FLFB. learned on old 70's thumpers and on my first HD 97 FLHRI. knee deep in a bar swap right now on the fore mentioned 2018.
any word on the connections for the controls, mainly the canbus in the frame beneath the tank. i didnt mark my Molex connectors. there is red and yellow tape on the female side(to bike) im assuming its for Left and right designation?

Default Raised rear suspension mod- fitted FatBob shock!

Swapped a FatBob shock with a friend today, she wanted lower and I wanted more clearance.

The height change is 35mm, at full extension. Springs are the same rate and you gain 20mm shock travel.

Shocks side by side:

We also swapped the sidestand, as well:

End result, both bikes are now raised/ lowered as desired, and first impressions are that the handling is much improved, and better clearance. My friend can finally flat foot her 2020 FatBob!

Shocks swap over with no modifications.

Ride is surprising you really need to ride one before bagging them
Really looking forward to seeing others ideas. Gee's thread I have followed wth great interest. Keep them coming
Ride safe and enjoy the Harley's of the future
I have the 114 as well , but I miss the forward controls and stretch from the FatBob also... can’t believe the cost to put 3”extended controls on near $1700aud

On the topic of Compensators.

I came across this piece from Dayco. 200$ 3 piece springless system.
https://www.partzilla.com/product/af...TDRIVES-CS-34A
It says it fits FLFB/FLFBS.
I'm a bit wary. But it looks like a potentially good idea.
Trying to read the patent info for it, not sure exactly what im looking at.

Three years into the making. The Corbin seat make hours go by without any pain or discomfort. Stage II horsepower cam gives it all the power it needs (at least for now).
