DKCustom says that if you run these, you can't run a crashbar, and I'm curious as to why the prevent the crashbar from being installed.
Would you happen to have a guess?
I was looking at getting these floorboard extensions to potentially add more lean angle but not sure if they will with my increased rear ride height.
Yes, I went with the DK Customs relocation kit (Forward 1.5" and Outward 1").
Being 6' 2" tall and with the installation of this kit, I had to extend both the brake and shift levers - I went with
SoftBrakes' Gloss Black, Holes, Extended Brake Pedal +2" (Softails - 2018 to Present) and and SoftBrakes' Gloss Black, Holes, +2.0" Extended Shift Lever (1973 - Present).
Also added the H-D Empire Floorboards.

This combination is spot on with regards to having both feet comfortably on the floorboards without any inference from either of the levers but also easy to shift and brake with minor movement to the pedals.
Yes, I reckon that it does provide better clearance, on the test ride I certainly felt more confident in leaning the bike around corners.
Caveat, I also installed the Drop-in Progressive suspension kit with a 1" (40mm) drop which made a real difference with regards to cornering - just felt more planted.
Interestingly enough, accordingly to my OH, I was getting closer to scrapping the passenger pegs. (This will be sorted at a later date when I fit my new exhaust system and relocate the pegs higher).
I would guess that, and I stress it's just a guess as I've never installed crash bars, looking at the following picture below, the reason why you can't run/fit crash bars is how far these are extended forward and out, plus, it may be because the extension kit, on the brake side, covers the lower mounting hole for the crash bar.

I went out again today to test the lean angle with the setup I have above and I'm now no so sure that there is much difference between this and the standard set up as far as lean angle is concerned.

Thanks for checking for me.
I was hoping there'd be a noticable increase or something like that.

I only want the relocation kit for increasing lean angle, and the ones where you can install while using a crash bar don't increase the lean angle.

I wonder whether this setup may be an option: Thunderbike Forward Controls

Interesting, but super expensive, and removes my floorboards, which was a big reason I like the bike.
I was looking at something to get just a bit more lean angle out of the bike without heavily altering it, and I'm thinking this is as far as I can really go without swapping to an overly tall shock, or significant modification. There's the 260 tire option, but I'm not sure if I like the Metzler front tire options for the bike as much as I like the A41 tire on the front.

Default Fat boy forward foot controls

Want to move my floorboards forward or add forward foot controls. It doesn’t appear that hd offers any for the fat boy. Some say the control for the breakout will fit. What are my options if any for foot controls. Thoughts

This may be a good idea:
DKCustoms Floorboard Relocation Kit
Soft Brake Extended brake pedal +1inch
Soft Brake Extended Shift Lever +1inch

I have one of those on its way but in black.

You say it wont fit with the saddleman seat - why?
Passenger seat too wide!?
