I just want to drop by to confirm that you can infact run a 150/70 R/B18 on the front of the fat boy. There's about a 1/4 inch clearance between the fender lip where its been folded under and the tire itself.
Ill get a proper measurement tomorrow when I have light again.

One of the reasons I traded my Fat Boy shortly after purchase was due to only the Scorcher available as a front tire and not liking them. Surely somebody would have another option but no.

How does it handle?
I can't tell you just yet. I just got it on and went to a parkinglot to do some figure 8s and simple stuff to start scrubbing it in, and then put the bike away. So I don't really have any real idea how it handles just yet.
It's definitely a taller tire than stock, but it also looks like it may actually be a little bit more round.
Ill be able to report back more later when I have the rear installed and I have some good miles on them. I got a Bridgestone H50 Battlecruise 240/40 R18 for the rear. It's going on Friday.

What I disliked about the handling on the Fat Boy was on turn in sometimes the front does a quick slide and then catch. Wanted to try a different tire but none were available.
My FXDR never does this.
Curious to hear feedback. Still love the looks of the Fat Boy. Always wanted mid controls and now they make the accessory kit that fits.
BTW I wanted to add that this tire is the 150/70ZR18 70W Bridgestone Battlax Adventure A41 https://www.bridgestone.com/products.../detail/pr142/
This is the non OEM version of the OEM rear tire that comes on the Honda Africa Twin.
Despite being labeled as an adventure tire it's really just a street tire with extra water removal grooving, and wet road performance.
It's as much an offroad tire as the Fat Bob's stock tires, which is basically not at all.

I've never had this happen tbh. Even when the stock tires were very clearly worn and starting to crack.

Never had it happen either. I must be the only FB rider that likes the stock tires and their handling. Maybe I have just had really bad tires in the past on my other bikes 😂
Just wanted to drop mine. 2018 with 13,000 miles. Had it about four months now. Definitely handles different than my 2008 Ultra and the 2007 Fatboy but a mean looking bike. Im told the bars and sissy bar were made in the Netherlands. Has a cam but dealer didnt now what kind. Plan on adding cruise control and probably swapping exhaust. Other than that riding it
