Default Timer cover #25600085

Just a gripe and PSA more or less; wondering if anyone else's timer cover fits like this? This is the correct part for an 18' FLHCS. While the OEM cover is a little smaller, this one just seems off. Thoughts?

Mines the same, not as noticeable that could just be the camera though. I thought about running a magic marker around the edge, didn’t bother me enough.

There is a bunch of slop in the bolt holes so did you try to have the bolts loose and push the cover one way or the other to fit it? If not a quick spray of black paint before putting it on should make it look better.

Right on, just seeing if it was just me. I’ll correct manually myself somehow. Either method would work, even create a gasket of some sort around it.

Wow that is disappointing, I was thinking about getting one of these. I'm no machinist but it seems like making a part the correct size would be something important, even in Taiwan?

I am trying to tell from the picture - is the silver you see on the outside the edge of the cover itself or the inside of the case? Or both? If it's just the cover I will deal with it with a can of paint and change it to gloss black. Thanks!

Just inside the case area itself. It’s more an annoyance cosmetically but a gloss black touch up pen might work but its a tight fit in there
