Sweet scoot! What is your honest opinion of the Saddleman Step-up seat? I can't stand the stock seat. It looks awesome, but after about an hour of riding... I just want to get off the bike. I've had my eye on the Saddleman but it's hard to pull the trigger without beign able to "test" it. Other than the lower back support, does the Saddleman really help put with longer rides? Thanks for any input you can share.
I loved the stepup seat. Wish I had longer to use it before getting ride of that bike. I am tall so initially I called the ppl at Saddlemen to discuss fit. They suggested possibly taking out an inch of lumbar. All sounded good until I was quoted $700 - $800. Hellll no lol. I ordered a "stock" one online (jpcycles?) and it arrived in about a week. All was good except no hardware in the box!!!!!!! Called saddlemen and they sent some out w/o any hassle or annoying questions, cool, but still..
>> Get the seat. It sits you up, but not like you are on a dirt bike, it is comfortable. Believe me I threw around the idea for awhile since no one I know has one, can't believe this wasn't my first upgrade. My next bike will be rocking a Saddlemen too.
