In your opinion do you think the back rest is needed on the riders seat (Not pillion)
Also did you get the heat pad with the seat.
Where did you buy from.

Cheers

If you're just asking of anyone who has one, for my part I say yes. I had the one without the backrest and even though the back comes up quite a bit, a couple of times when I goosed the bike unexpectedly (wrist twisted after going over an unseen bump), I felt like I was going to come off the bike. I've had back surgery in the past and so the additional support is pretty important to me.

I created a nice backrest for the end of last riding season but it required my rack and sissy bar to be installed, and I didn't want that since I ride solo almost exclusively. So this Winter I asked Saddlemen if they could retrofit a backrest to my seat and instead they took my original seat in trade and just charged me shipping and the difference between the two versions. My "old" seat had only a few hundred miles on it and it was like new. They're great to work with.

Oh, and no heat in the seat. I garage my bike when the weather is that cold.
