Hah, perfect! Mine comes today. Need to figure out the right mapping for my 2020 LRS and Rinehart 3.5" slipons, but at least I know it will fit! Thanks so much Brian

Unfortunately the video doesn’t show a 2020. The room for the right side is very limited and there isn’t room. However there is a handy spot just below the right side near the dip stick that fits the FP3 perfectly.

Havent flashed the bike yet but did ride today testing the live bike data. Was very cool! One suggestion is to show the last known gear on the gear indicator if the clutch is pulled in. Right now it just goes blank. I think it’s very lame H-D bikes do this as my BMW and Triumph don’t but it seems the FP3 app should be able to overcome the limitation. Aside from that it’s pretty cool.

When it warms up I’ll flash the ECU with the best tune and take it for a longer ride.

Good to know. I haven't had my hands on a 2020 Softail aside from the updated ECM unlock project earlier this year. Luckily, we're buying 4 new bikes in the immediate future, two of which I believe will be Softails, and I will likely go ahead and film a new segment and amend the video posted to Youtube.

So do you (any of you) leave the fuelpak3 on the bike when you take it in for service? I like leaving it on to monitor things and make adjustments but I was going to remove it for the trip to the dealer. The techs don't look that close?

I'd flash the bike back to the 0-slot calibration and remove the FP3 just in case your tech/dealer isn't cool with aftermarket tuners.

Thank you V&HBryan. Quick follow up: I have the V&H Pro Pipes and high flow intake. Will it run fine for the shop to test after the service setting it back to factory?

It won't hurt anything for them to run it 3-6 miles with the OEM calibration during a test ride.

This is what I plan to do. That said, what happens if my phone dies (speaking from experience here ) and I need access to my tunes again. I know slot 0 is backed up to your servers, but right now my slot 1 is giving me noticeable improvements and I've set the throttle setting to aggressive as I love it (raced MX for years and 1:1 wire is what I'm used to). Plus, if I ever auto-tune, I'd hate to was the hours of time spent. So, are these backed up as well?

Cheers,

These are all saved on the unit itself and do not back themselves up to our server. You can do that manually by navigating to the Customer Support menu, selecting V&H Support, then press the Upload Map button for each map you wanted to send to the server.
