Revzilla "Kuryakyn 2-Piece Universal Fork Clamp Mounting Brackets" however; I knew when I ordered them that I would have to have them machined out to fit.

I installed Heritage floor boards on Fat Boy mounts per the parts shared by Belloc42. I just never got comfortable with the forward controls having ridden with boards the last 20 years on 2 Road Kings and a Road Glide. I like the fact that my feet are more underneath me and I can move them around. Also when cornering aggressively, the board will touch and fold up vs having my boot heels drag on forward pegs. Much more comfortable for me... everyone is different and that's one of the great things about these bikes!

After seeing pjbuilder's Sport Glide with the Memphis Fats shield, I ordered one and really like the wind protection. It's a quality set of hardware and their mounting system allows for adjustments of height and the angle of the windshield. I mounted it up the first time with the angle more upright and it created more buffeting and swirl at the top of my helmet (similar to my experience with my Road King windshields in the past). Adjusting the angle back slightly, made a big difference and sent the wind smoothly above the helmet. By the way, I purchased the 19 inch windshield and it worked well, but my eyes and sight line were well above the top of the shield. I ordered a replacement 21 inch shield as shown in these pictures and like it better as the wind is now well above my full face helmet and even smoother. I'm 5' 11" and 32" inseam. The Memphis Fats is not as pretty as the stock mini batwing, but I doubt it will been swapped very often by me now.

I always loved my Road Kings and wished HD would build one with 100 lbs lower weight, so that's the direction I've been moving with this bike. I didn't want the tube type tires, wire wheels, or bags on the Heritage models. I'm loving the lighter weight and performance of this bike!

Hey RossW, yes it's a Mustang Dagger stitch solo and passenger seat. I thought the stock seat wasn't too bad and looks good, but this one is more comfortable on longer rides. The rider seat is wider by 2.5 in and has good support https://www.mustangseats.com/product...sport-glide-18
I had a Mustang touring seat on my 2014 Road King and loved it. I like this one too.

I’m thinking of going to 12” FAT Chizeled bars with heated grips, does anyone know if I need pull back riser to clear the stock fairing/windscreen? Two seperate dealers have quoted the pull back riser (was going to just use the stock one??)

Hello JAKL,

Your bike looks great with those Vance and Hines. I have been thinking quite a while about getting these pipes for my Sport Glide but havent heard any in my area with the DB reducers. The one used bike I heard at my local dealer didnt have any baffles and that was way too loud for me. So, I wanted to ask you what kind of baffles you have in yours and any drone effect after an hour riding. Also, since you havent changed the cam, how is the torque at the bottom end? With just the tuner were you able to at least keep the same or did you feel a significant loss. I really want to buy the buy the pipes, but I am hesitant to make an $800 mistake.

I ordered these with the quiet baffles but have not yet used the quiet baffles, they are still in the box. Torque is fine, the stage 1 made a very noticeable difference (for me) if performance and I often ride long Km’s with no “droning”. The sound out of these pipes is great, yes they are loud but that’s why I got the quiet baffles (but I won’t use them unless PoPo catch me). Note: don’t forget you need the V&H bracket for the rear bag mount ($40)
