Last week the 14" Slipstreamer windshield turned up along with my new seat such that I got them fitted before my road trip.

Thanks for the insight and recommendation - I bought the Mustang Touring seat with back rest...it wasn't cheap but it's worth every penny.

Tested it out on a 860 mile round trip to visit my brother in the Netherlands last weekend and it was simply brilliant...I was able to ride @70-80mph on the highways and for @2hrs or @200miles with out any issues at all.

Anyone got an idea what T-bars these are on this Sport Glide?
Also, how high can you go before having to change/extend cables?

EDIT:
Santee / DOSS / Drag Specialties ?
Probably max. 8" ?

By looking at how straight that upper brake line is, I would say your at the max with the T-Bars on there. I do not know what brand they are though.

So, having done some pretty basic calculations, I reckon the T-bars in the above picture are 12" T-bars.
Current set up with standard bars and H-D 4" pull back risers are @9" (i.e. 10.5" - 1.5" = 9")

Which, if my calculations are correct, means that I could go with a set of, for example, Santee 10" T-bars without having to change any of the wiring or cables.

I'd say you're pretty right on with your measurements.

For reference, I have the street slammers on my 2021 and there's plenty of room to go taller if needed. I actually wound up putting a 1" riser extension and there's still plenty of room to go higher.

I'm actually toying with the idea of going another 2" taller as the bars are still a little lower than I want. Good luck with your search!

Thanks for this - really useful.
So they are the Street Slammer drag bar with 7" integrated risers (+ the bars 1 1/4") with a 1" riser extension - that would make them 9 1/4" high total.
...and you say you could go +2" ?
I'm going to do some more measuring using the following as a guide

I'm looking at the Santee T-Bars but trying to work out whether to go for the 10" (which are actually 203mm height / 8") or 12" (which are actually 254mm height / 10")

Yes those are the exact bars - I think the reason for the additional height is actually because they are much narrower than the stock bars and risers, which give you a little more play, especially with the brake line.

Right after I typed out my last post I went ahead and ordered DK customs 3" riser extensions. I'm gonna give them a go and will report back. Its possible the 2" might have been the max I can go with this bar but I'm gonna give the 3" a try first.

Current setup (H-D 4" pullback risers with std bars) @dimensions

What it doesn't really capture is the curvature/pullback of the risers.
However, based on the above, the Santee 12 Inch T-Bar should easily fit without any extending of cables or wires.

As previously mentioned, and over this last weekend, I've started doing a few cosmetic changes...
  • Pyramid Fender extender;
  • Craftride windshield (keeping the Slipstreamer windshield for longer touring trips after I've added the Gold Wing venting system);
  • H-D 4" risers;
  • HDMC grips (which was originally on my Fat Boy);
  • Memphis shades hand guards;
  • H-D Coil Cover (which was originally on my Fat Boy);
  • M8 Tank (which was originally on my Fat Boy);
  • Chrome tank panel (which was originally on my Fat Boy);
  • Mustang touring seat;
  • Hard wired the Sat Nav.
...with pictures this time.

Parts acquired or on order include:
  • Stage 1 kit (which were left over from the Street Bob) consisting of an Arlen Ness black Smooth Stage 1 Big Sucker Air Filter Kit; V&H black Shortshots and a V&H FP4.
  • Rider Floorboard conversion kit (parts needed are listed in a previous post) with Arlen Ness 10-gauge black floorboards (which were originally on my Fat Boy);
  • Passenger Floorboard conversion kit with Arlen Ness 10-gauge black floorboards;
  • Moustache Crash Bar;
  • Black Radiator Cover (the chrome Kuryakyn one was a bit too much bling!);
  • Black "spike" style backrest (the chrome one I ordered turned up damaged so was sent back for a refund. Decided to replace it with a black one instead);
  • Solo Luggage Rack;
  • Longer stemmed Black mirrors.
As can be seen from previous posts, I'm currently researching getting a set of Black T-Bars.
