I just put the Oberon adjustable levers on my FLHCS and thought I'd share some info. The closest position, 1, doesn't quite have enough travel for the clutch, but position 2 starts to engage the clutch about 1/4" away from the grip. I have the brake lever at 2 also. I have the smallest diameter grips HD makes, but measured to the center of the bar for you.
I can feather the clutch a lot better now, the stock Harley levers sat at the pads of my fingertips and especially after riding the twisties for a few hours sometimes I would pop the clutch because my finger tips just couldn't hold it.
Stock levers are chrome, Oberon's are black and pictures are at position 1.
Thanks for that. I was wondering if it was just me that found the Heritage brake and clutch levers right at the ends of my fingertips. Never had this problem before with Harley's, I was beginning to think my hands must be shrinking.
I have a 2019 Heritage. I also have tendonitis in my left wrist. After about a half hour of riding in traffic my wrist is killing me. Did you find the pull on the clutch lever any lighter with the new levers?
