Hi guys. I'm on my 3rd Harley. The first was an 883 back when I was a "kid". I distinctively remember, unless I was high lol) around 700/800 miles, it REALLY improved felt power. My 2nd, an FXR, the same, maybe slightly lesser degree. I'm wondering if my new M8 will do the same?
Any of the rest of you noticed anything like that? What and how many miles? Lol, TIA...

All exhausts get a little louder with some miles, and might add a horsepower or two, but I've never felt the bike get automagically faster on its own. In fact, most of the time, no matter what I'm riding, by 2-3k miles, it feels like it could use some more power The starting power doesn't matter as I've felt the same way with my "old" KTM Super Duke R and its 175Hp. The difference is, I don't care as much on my Sport Glide, because it's just so enjoyable to cruise. Almost like it was made for it!!
