For my 2018 Softail Deluxe FLDE, I finally installed my chrome wind deflectors a couple weeks ago. Have since put a tad over 300 highway miles on her. I am more than happy with the product fit and finish. Install is less than 15 minutes. I highly recommend and would buy them again. I purchased them online at: https://jescustomaccents.com Here are some pics for those interested. NOTE: I would suggest buying a new set of screws (that came with windshield) just in case you mess one up during the removal or installation. The HD part number for the screws: 10200588 Don't ask me how I know.

Reason: add a part number
Very Sweet! Thanks for the link and tips. Looks like you change the pipes into a 2:1 config too. What's next on the list? Chrome lowers for the front forks?

Good idea PH. Maybe at first tire change. It really should have came that way from the factory.
Umm not to bad I guess ... do they really deflect much wind ?
more than you would think. They also come in black. JES also makes a nice oil dipstick temperature gauge with either a black or white face easy to read without pushing a button. Great small company

Yes, they deflect a good amount of wind creating less turbulence in between the rider and windshield. I wish I had them on when I took the little beastie across Mackinaw bridge last summer.
Have you tried it with the screen removed but with the fangs still on? Wondering if they would add any value by themselves.
Also, I wonder if the fangs could be attached to the screen legs so they quick remove along with the screen......
I have not tried it without the screen attached as over 90% of my miles are highway miles.
And I really don't think you could attach the fangs to the screen as one item. You would have to modify them and possibly ruin them.
Too bad they did not come as quick detach. Inventor must have had his reasons.
