Just wondering if anyone has come up with a solution to the worthlessness of these, i flipped them just like the 48 i used to have,of course anyone having done this knows they hit the tank if you turn the bars far enough, just looking for suggestions
I will be installing riser extensions soon and am hoping the added height of the bars also improves the rearward view in the mirrors ( better line of sight). If not I intend to install wider mirrors.

Ive pondered the 2 in riser extensions this could make the inverted mirrors not hit, or like u said just help.you see around your body
Get some taller adjustable mirrors that you can angle further up and further out.
I put Motogadget m-View Sport on mine in the end. They are glass-free. The mirror surface is the metal itself and opticaly they are excellent. They are expensive - but no more expensive than HD parts
