Default Inverted Mirrors For '16 Breakout

I'm trying to find some mirrors that will work in the inverted position for a ' 16 Breakout. I've seen quite a few on the bikes from Harley Davidson Breakout Friends in Germany, but I can't get info from their forum site as it is in the German language. Does anyone have any info as to what mirrors they use or any other options? I've tried to flip my stock mirrors and they end up hitting the tank when the bars are fully turned left or right.

This a bike of one of the members of the Breakout Friends Europe community:

It seems to use those mirrors by MS Biketec:

But be aware that the bike also uses a non-stock handlebar (Fehling drag bar):

Hope that helps!

Is it the stems hitting, or the mirrors them selves?

Looks like the guy above has risers on his drags, might help? But, he may also just not go around sharp turns, either?

I inverted my stock mirrors and I love the look and they give better vision. However, they hit the tank. Anyone recommend mirrors that wouldn't?

you'd probably need higher bars if you want to preserve the vision.

Rizoma sells a few styles that have a pivot point right at the handlebar mount... this allows you to angle the stem away from the tank almost immediately..

Yeah, what matte said. If you don't mind slightly higher bars 1" riser spacers might do the trick. But verify clearance first

I too am looking for inverted mirrors to install on my Breakout. I don’t want to change risers or bars. Can anyone recommend a set of mirrors that won’t hit the tank?

You can try Arlen Ness Mini Oval Micros. They come in Chrome and a semi-gloss black.

I just installed them mounted under the bar on my ‘18 Deluxe: they leave about 1/4”-3/4” clearance from the tank when the wheel is turned all the way to the left. They will not work on my ‘17 Slim unless I relocate the turn signals. I loved how the under mounted stock mirrors looked on my old XL1200X, and one day I’ll get around to moving the signals on my Slim so I can use the Ness’ on it.
