I rode for 45 years without one. Now you'd have to pry my cold dead fingers off of mine

I first tried the cruise control on our FLRT a few weeks ago and again on my FLHC. I like it. It gives your hand a break.

As someone who spends a lot of time on the interstate, I'd have a hard time getting a bike without it now. One of those things where you get used to having it, you don't want to not have it again.

Another thing to consider is that it can be a licence saver in areas that have speed traps/cameras or average speed cameras.

Even though I don’t use a lot it for its intended purpose (long rides on the slab) I find it invaluable when I want to give my right hand a break. Flip it on, relax my arm for a few min, flip it off. Well worth the cost.

As so many others have said, yes, it is worth it. Even if I don't have cc engaged for a long period it gives not only my right hand but also my whole right arm a break. And I don't mind not having to keep glancing at my speedo and slightly adjusting my speed up or down continuously while using cc.

I really love my CC, it allows me to enjoy cruising the open road as well as it frees up my hand so I can tell drivers they are #1 in my book.

Cruise control on a bike is like reverse & electric start on a snowmobile.

Gotta have it!!

I added it to my ‘18 Breakout and am very glad I did. Obviously not a touring bike but still, many cases where it comes in handy. My old Softail had just the throttle lock and this is so much better. Indicators on digital display are nice too.
