Short Shot baffle question
V&H Short Shots, with standard or quiet baffles on a 107? How much quieter are the 'quiet' ones or are they just less harsh? By the look of the solid baffle plate I would imagine more back pressure so better torque. I presume the standard baffle would have a better top end. How do you guys find them with both types of baffle?
Can't speak to the specific application but I had V&H Long Shots on my Dyna with both the regular and quiet baffles. The regular baffles were just too loud for me.
The quiet baffles sound nice to me - still way louder than stock - but with a nice throaty sound. The bottom end torque picked up on my Dyna with the quiet baffles, but they also really softened the top RPM range starting about 4500 rpm.
