Ok, I just ordered the original monster baffles for vance and hines shortshots. I thought the originals were the quiet baffles. How much louder are the originals compared to the quiet ones. Also the quiet baffles are supposed to improve back pressure and improve torque. Will the originals improve torque.
Most I've heard preach about the gain in torque when switching the monster baffles, however I personally didn't notice much of a change. I also installed them the recommended 6 inches in.
As for the sound, its much better than the vh baffles I had in my Shortshots. It gets rid of that 'pingy' sound, much deeper.
I need to know the difference between the original monster baffle and the quiet monster baffle....
The originals look more like a conventional baffle. The quiet has a perforated nose cone with a small lollipop and a larger lollipop at the other end. The quiets make a very deep sound, and, unlike the name, is not quiet.
You can see them here: http://www.bigcitythunder.com/pages/...erMonster.html

+1 I didn't really feel a difference so much as hear it. but it sounds f-ing great.
