I’ve just noticed that the headlight on my ‘19 Deluxe is very slightly rotated (perhaps 5 degrees) in the housing. Barely noticeable except the trim ring is also rotated and that is quite obvious.
The question is, should I just slacken the trim ring and correct it, or is it deliberate? Is this a way of dipping the beam to the side to avoid dazzling oncoming traffic or is it just slack workmanship.
So it turns out you can’t. The sealed headlight unit is positioned by the main mounting bolt and the innards are fixed in place. All the trim ring actually does is cover the clamping plate that holds the chrome trim on the back of the headlight bowl. There is no adjustment other than for the trim ring. So I’ve centred that up. But the actual headlight is still not correct. I’ll have the dealer look at it next time I’m in. Perhaps it is a badly made headlight unit.

Anyone else got got the same?
Cheers!
What ever you do DO NOT look at the spacing of the driving lamps in relation to the headlight🙄
