Have about 4500 miles on my rear tire now now and is about to need to be replaced. Can't imagine how it will be once I swap the cam.
Haven't had the chance to wear out a rear tire yet due to the first 2 rear tires picking up screws and the first tire picking up the screw exactly one week after bringing the bike home. Wore out one front tire though.
Looking at other brands now as well. Maybe Avon Cobras but not quite sure yet.
I installed my 4th rear at 11,500 miles. Still on my 2nd front although it is now V shaped. Installed a Metzler Cruisetech, a new tire by them for heavy bikes like the HD. I live in the Smokey Mountains and ride my Heritage 114 with HD's torque cam very aggressively very much like my BMW's, ie very aggressive sport bike riding.
Only about 1,000 miles on the new Metzler so far and really like it, have ground the heck out of my floor boards........So far my favorite rear tire out of the 4 different ones on the '18 Heritage ............. so far. I think I'll get over 4,000 miles on it also.
Try the Avon Cobra Chrome tyres. I am no slouch and typically change rear Cobras out at about 8k miles. Apparently the new Cobra Chromes have at least 10% more longevity.
They are also the best cruiser tyres I have found. Plenty of grip wet and dry.

Just put the cobra chromes on my fat bob, loving them so far. Super sticky and smooth, if I can get 8k out of the rear Ill be happy.
