For my Deluxe, I'm still looking for a solo seat backrest that will work with the HD luggage rack. The stock luggage rack bridges the seat bolts, so I don't think the Grasshopper backrest bracket will work (although I haven't yet tried it). The only other idea I have is a solo Mustang with back rest, which is currently a budget breaker. Speaking about budget breaking ideas, for longer trips, I had considered getting a touring pack that I believe has a backrest. Has anyone added one of those? Any feedback or other ideas?

For long rides where you are taking a pack, simply strap it as close to your seat as possible and lean against it.
Here's my 2018, she has as much chrome as Harley sells plus stage 1 and 2, foot rest extensions, custom seat, bib, and tool kit,, etc, etc. Looking to install some beach bars, different mirrors, as soon as I find what I like. Lots of fun drinking beer and putting stuff on in the garage. "Chrome won't get you home, but it turns me on."

The seat and backrest can be ordered from Ultimate Seats in Florida. I had a leather guy make a pirates treasure map for my bib here in Tennessee. Another leather shop in New Mexico made my tool bag, all did a great job in providing me what I requested. Tried to get a company in Washington to make some chrome frame inserts but he says because the recess is on the edge of the frame it would not do well. Another company is making some chrome skeleton foot jiffy stands but they won't be ready to around Christmas. I'm retired military so I have spent a good amount of time trying to find cool stuff for them. Thunderbike in Germay makes swing arm inserts but I haven't figured out how much they want in Euro's (or whatever the money system is there) yet. Anyhow I continue the hunt. I have enjoyed looking and getting ideas from you guys as well.
