I did a stupid guys !
I checked my oil in the normal way and I was way low , this bike never uses any oil at all.
I chit myself a little so I pulled the CPS and yep nothing there , was dumbfounded for about 10 seconds , then realized the bike is now angled over further on the side stand with the taller shock. Leaned her up against the wall roughly the same lean as before the mod, well you know the rest.
Cheers.
The last time I looked it up it was around $730 US. You probably also need to buy the pivot shaft and a couple other odds and ends to fit.
Cheers Doug, if I remember there's 2 different frame types, one of them is wider for the bikes with fat rears.
It might work and if it does I might be up for it.
That swingarm is stiffer and lighter 2 good things in one go right.
I'll check it Dougy.
Cheers bro.
Done some digging and they are different ,it is wider at the swing arm pivot.
Mate that bottom link doesn't work for me and where did you find the weight difference ?Could you point me to it pls.
A fabricator could cut and shut the wider swing arm I'm sure.

The bottom link was just a screenshot from the fxdr parts catalog.
I dont remember where I read about the weight difference, it may have been in a thread on this forum.
If you do wind up with the fxdr swingarm Im super curious to see the results and hear how much work was involved. Ive considered it for my fxbb, but I have cam, exhaust and suspension in front of it in the to-do list.

I have a cam and big bore barrels and some heads to go on my little scooter but it just runs so sweet man. lol
I keep listening for a lifter tick or it to use oil or some other sign it's wearing out but nada. Not pulling apart a great running engine just yet, but I want to.
Thx for your help Doug.
Added Race Tech fork springs to the front might of shaved a quarter of a pound . lol
Haven't been for a ride but the front sits up a little higher in the stroke and the front and back when pushing down on the peg with the bike free standing, work together up and down now at the same speed/rate , the front dived before .She lays over a little more angle when on the stand now too.
Should get a spin in tonight.
Emulators next after Xmas, I didn't feel like stripping the front end and messing with it just before Xmas.
