Yes I also really wonder about this mod. I loved it on my 2014 Slim and would like to duplicate on 2019 Heritage. One question I have is how to get to this bold for headlight to remove it. Seems this is deep and hard to get to.

to get to the headlight trim ring bolt I had to drop the passing lamp bar off.
One bolt going in from the bottom. Put a blanket on the fender, no need to unhook and wires.
I really hope someone will find solution for this mode and confirm that french visor will fit. That would be awesome mod. This is what I had on my 2014 Slim na this looked bad ***
I don't understand why none will fit nor why HD or any other manufacturer have not created one? Is something up with the new model that prevents this or they are just playing catch up?
I ordered an aftermarket "visor style" headlamp ring hoping it would work. Unfortunately not even close. I have a 2020 Deluxe and the ring is thinner than all of the others I have seen. (I did see 1 thinner one, but the clamp area was different). Why would Harley make the passing lamp rings and not the headlamp?! So frustrating...

The Road King frenched and visored trim clamp over the existing ring. You are supposed to loosen the bottom screw (circled), slip the trim over it where is fits between the OE trim and the bucket (arrow). You then tighten the new one down which in turn clamps itself and the OE trim down.
I have a black visor trim and a pair of aux lamp trims I had powdered black as for some reason HD doesn't make the aux light trim in black, only chrome. Anyway, if anyone is local to me and wants to try fitting them, you're welcome to come by and try. I'm just north of NYC.
