Has anyone else had a problem getting the two torx bolts out? I’m afraid I have stripped them a tiny bit. None the less stripped is stripped and I need some help getting them out! These suckers are in there tight. I’m kind of frustrated with the type of bolt used for this application. If your going lock tight something like that do it to a bolt that can’t be stripped so easily!! Anybody have any suggestions? Thanks for any help you can provide.
I'm finding that H-D has used Loctite on every fastener on my 2019 Heritage. Totally unnecessary IMO, but I suppose it's cheaper than nylok nuts or or lock washers. In my experience, button head Torx screws and Loctite is a recipe for disaster.
yeah, my lowrider had them loctited in like I've never seen before. Its a miracle the stuff wasn't bleeding out everywhere around. I ended up having to run the new bolt in and out about four times to clean the threads decently and then reapply a sane amount.

You need a set of thread chasers (not taps) to clean threads that have dried loctite.
