Heritage Exhaust options...
From what there is, the Vance & Hines Pro Pipe doesn't look too bad...
Vance & Hines website shows it on the Fat Bob...
Might lean towards a 2 into 1, but the stock head pipe does have a crossover tube. I'm only looking at a Stage 1 at this point anyway, so Meh, maybe good enough to go with something like the Vance & Hines Slash Cut Slip Ons. Would be cheaper and easier to install...
I don't know... Keep going back a forth. If I had to give one the edge in the looks department... I might lean towards the Pro Pipe (depending on what day it is and the mood). My Heritage color is Twisted Cherry. I'm definitely leaning towards chrome.
Sound-wise... I'd say the Slash Cut's sound better in the V&H videos...
The Pro Pipe sounds quieter (almost too much so) in the video than the Slash Cuts. IMM - as note before - the Slash Cuts sound better. I just wonder if the Slash Cuts would be too loud. I'm not looking for something too loud. My Nightster already takes care of that department (as much I want it too anyway) with it's Side Shots. Has anybody heard both (with standard baffles) in person?
So what do you think?
Part B of the question is, if without the CAT is a full stage 1 required, tuner and air cleaner to make them run right?

S&S Slash Cut Mufflers
Havent heard the S&S slash cuts in person so they may have the look AND sound you like.
for V&H, if short shots are one one end of the spectrum and Eliminators are on the other end, Id put their slash cuts in the middle.
