Hope this isn't a re-post. Ran across it looking for reviews of the Cobra 2-1 pipe I just bought. Interesting choice on this bike, since it looks like the guy wasn't looking to save cash on the build. Was not a fan of that style fairing, but think it looks killer on this build:
Harley-Davidson 2020 Low RIder S with Retro FXRT Russ Wernimont Fairing
Oh I love the look but at 55K I could have another truck in the garage. That **** is just way overpriced for something that just changes in looks and lacks any performance/technology improvement.

55k? What are we talking about here? Not the fairing...

From what I can see the "build" was a new seat, exhaust, fairing/headlight, and handlebars. Even with outrageous labor charges and full msrp parts I can't see more than $5 or 6k on top of the msrp of the bike itself.
Its a different shock. I just installed my Ohlins and have the original in my bag. I'll measure it tomorrow. The Low Rider had a preload collar you adjust with a spanner. This shock has a remote hyd preload adjuster. So it may be longer. I'll have to measure and let you know.
Yeah, the brake cable is definitely shorter then the Low Rider. I don't think there's more then an inch or two slack.
Tonight I installed:
Ohlins rear shock
Bung King crash bar
Custom Dynamics Probeams and run/brake/turn module
Black levers
Extended mirrors, complete with bug squash from my last ride on my old bike
Got rid of the damn reflectors
Man, I'm going to go nuts until I can get my bars on it. The stock ones SUCK.
Oh, and no factory cruise. Got to spend the $250 like everyone else. I thought I read that it came with cruise. But nooooooo. Cheap bastards...
And the more I look at it, the more I am liking that ventilator. I may decide to keep it instead of my usual heavy breather. Just have to figure out how to vent it to the atmosphere instead of the motor.
do you have part number for Öhlins shock ? How much does it improve handling overall have you noticed
