Hi,my speedo reads 65 kmh,but my sat nav shows 100 kmh, ive checked with a couple of mates when doing 50 kmh it shows 30.
Took it in for 8000k service told the mechanic, they checked it and said they reset it but on the way home same problem.
Its been like this since day one.
Any ideas would be helpful
Cheers
65 MPH=104km/h, 30MPH=48km/h. I would also check your odometer, you may have been at 8000 miles, not 8000km. The conversion is 8km=5miles. If youve got something like an FP3 on your bike where you can access your bikes ecm data thru your phone while riding, also worth checking that way. But Id wager the moco put a US speedo on your bike for some reason

Sounds like you have the WRONG calibration in the bike. Is your bike 100% stock or have you tuned it?
On the left hand switch block the top button closest the bike that cycles through the different read outs ,when you get to MPH there hold it down till it changes.
You manual has how to do this in it.
Ok, just tried it on my bike.
Turn the bike on (upper right button, aka Kill Switch) but do not start.
Press the Display Cycle switch (on my bike, the top, left-hand switch) repeatedly until you get the TOTAL DISTANCE on the odometer. Not the A or B trip odometer, but the one without a letter A or B. On my bike, it said 2203.4 and MILES underneath it.
Press and Hold the Display Cycle button until it switches to KM (maybe says KILOMETERS, I forget). On my bike, it switched to 3525.4 and KILOMETERS underneath.
Your display will now do everything in Kilometers (KM, KPH).
Turn the bike off with the Kill Switch. The display will go off, but is now set to metric scale as default when you next start the bike.
