06 883L.Where can I buy one for a fair price?It has power,ground and data link.If I'm missing some thing let me know.The entire thing is dead.

Open your service manual to the wire diagram for the speedo and check them out and the work back from there. Plus there is a pretty big troubleshooting section about the speedo in the manual.

IF you go the dealer route for the speedo, you can get it with the mileage you have already on your bike. Its not cheap tho.

Me? I'm ready to hit my speedo with a hammer........but in its defense it has spent quite a bit of time buried.

if you wanted to upgrade, you could go with a dakota digital speedo.. I've been thinking about that for awhile... although if the problem you are having isn't with the speedo itself, you should, of course, fix that first....

The dealer wants $187 for a spun aluminum one.Ebay wants $229 for a stock one with 24,777 miles on it.

Are you sure it's the speedo? Everything ( speedo,tach,signals) all run through the TSSM or TSM. Take it to someone with a didgitech and get it checked.

I thought about that.I would think that with power and ground the back lighting would at least work.My turn signals do work.

Well the new speedo has been installed.Everything works again.The spun aluminum one looks great and the orange back lighting at night is nice to look at.$220.52 to my door,5 minutes and 1 beer to change it.
