Here the situation guys, i bought a FXFB 107 back when they came out in October of 2017 I only put 254 miles up until today. So thats almost 2 years with the same engine oils... So do i finish my break in these oil or flush them all out & what do i replace them all with break in oil for the engine or run full synthetic now...?
Harley doesn’t use break in specific oil. I’d change it now to whatever you want use use that is recommended. Then make sure you change it every 5,000 miles or 1 year whichever+comes first.
1. I would be more worried about the gas in the tank, depending on how long since fresh gasoline was put in the tank. If the gas is more than 6 months old, I would consider draining the tank and replacing it with 1-gallon from the gas station you bring home in a container.
2. The oils aren't going to go bad in just two years. I recommend riding it more and getting 1k miles on the bike as soon as possible. You can then take it in for the 1k miles service. This is the most important service on any new bike. You certainly want to have it performed before your warranty expires.
3. At the 1k service, make sure full synthetic fluids are put in all three holes.
FYI: I just had the 1k service performed on my 2019 Low Rider. I was surprised at how much smoother the throttle and clutch operated and the improved smoothness when shifting the transmission.
