Pillion Foot Peg Heat
My wife complains that the heat on the foot on the pillion peg atop the muffler of my 2019 Heritage Classic is unbearable. Any suggestions how to deal with this?

Does the Heritage have its catalytic converters in the muffler cans like my Low Rider? Just going to some slip on mufflers might help, since the cats get really hot.
My passenger hasn’t complained about the heat, but I do see her boots keep leaving rubber on the pipes. Been thinking about adding some extra heat shields like this:
