Love my 2018 FLHCS (Heritage 114). I've put just over 9000 miles on it in a year. Ride solo, seat is fine, love the look of it every time I go out to the garage. Runs great, plenty of power, handles great. Lots of compliment on it, too. 67 years old, 155 lbs, 5'9".
Could be me, I love the windshield bottom being black. I'm indifferent for the button you mention.
When these 1st came out, i hated them. The added bit of chrome, this bike grew on me. I had the last gen heritage, to me it got too bedazzled. I line this. Very 40s and 50s. I lome the blacked out front. Only bag complaint is be carefull not to kick them swi ging a leg. The leather isnt as tough as the old bags. Already scuffed a lid.

18,600 miles on my ‘18 Heritage and it’s been perfect for pretty much everything. The shocks are great. Bars were very comfy, but I went to 14” Nice Curves just fun. The seat is fine up to around 300 miles. If you plan on longer days might want to swap or modify for comfort, but that’s all subjective to personal fit.
Can’t recommend the bike highly enough.
disclaimer....mine might be turning into an RKS...but that is for reasons that in no way disparage the Heritage. I’d keep both if I had room.
I ride mine solo only. The tourpak in the solo position is great. Keeps the bike balanced and provides a great back rest.
Definitely get the 114 engine and have a SE 447 torque cam put in it. This is the first Harley I have ever had with a full 2 year powertrain warranty and all the power I need. A stock 107 is very lame in comparison.
The added power and torque will put a big smile on your face. Don't miss the opportunity to get the cam with the new bike for the full two year warranty.
The stock suspension and handling is great. Other stuff is personal preference.
Traded a 17 Street Glide for my 19 Heritage 114, the Heritage is superior in every way except maybe the radio. Then I got a Cardo Pactalk Bold with JBL speakers and now that’s better too.
