Bringing back this thread. How do you attach the round piece of leather to the speedo? It's a great idea...

I’m not a fan of fender “bibs” in general, but these are the nicest I’ve seen.

There is a thread here somewhere in which I discussed it, and have additional pictures. But basically I took a 1/16" x 1/2" piece of aluminun flat bar and double-sided taped it to the back of the speedo housing, and then used a screw to attach the leather piece to it. I added a piece of marine step tape to the outside of the aluminum bar for esthetics.
