Well I can assure you that you going to love it, I have it on all my Harley's, they are so easy to use and installation is peanuts.

Are you guys mounting these under the side cover, under the seat, or not leaving them connected? Seems like a tight fit even for something as small as an FP3.

I found a letter from H-D that clarifys what is voided in your warranty when an aftermarket tuner is used.

What I've been doing for the bikes here at the shop is putting the FP3 itself under the right side cover, and routing the plug/wire around the frame into the left side cover.

I leave them all on the bikes except on the Breakout, the reason why, is the Thunderbike fender and seat there wasn't any decent place to put it. It is not really necessary to have it on the
bike if the tune is oke. For a autotune session it needs to be on the bike, if there is room to stick it under the seat or sidecover that is what I prefer, then you have it with you in case you
need to read and or erase some codes or do a autotune or so.

I have the tuner working but every map I have is making my bike run sub-par, not sure what I can do to optimize my tunes.

Shoot me an email, give me all the specs of your bike...cams, heads, exhaust, air cleaner, etc... and I'll shoot you something that should work pretty well.

You'll need to Upload the ECU contents by navigating to the Customer Support Menu, Vance and Hines Support, then select Upload ECU Content.
