My FP3 cleared my Street Bob’s dealer-installed cruise control and also made my fuel gauge stop working. What system switches should I use to reenable these systems?
So, you just installed the FP3 and it immediately made your cruise control and your fuel gauge stop working?
IM Cheyne here or call them tomorrow 1-562-921-5388.
After flashing my changes, the digital FXBB gauge showed no fuel (was actually almost full) and my cruise (installed at the dealer) doesn’t engage (orange light won’t come on at speed to activate).
This previously occurred when I installed a new exhaust and flashed to the right tune. I thought V&H permanently engaged the feature, but this update to the same tune turned the feature off again and added this fuel gauge problem.

Upload your current map to our server by navigating to the Customer Support Menu, select V&H Support, then scroll down and press the Upload ECU Contents button. Shoot me an email at FPPro@VanceandHines.com with the last 6 of your VIN, and I'll reset your system switches and push the map back to your unit.
Bryan, 2020 Street glide special and I had the dealer install the factory cb module and when they did I had them flash it for the update that puts the cruise on the right side and the cb post to talk button on the left. It also switches the buttons. When I flash it this week-end with the FP# will I be screwing with that or will it copy what is on it right now and i'll be ok? I remember the service guy saying that the buttons are now grey so all dealers will know it was done

When you plug it into the bike for the first time, it will take a full copy of your settings, including the system switches. When you flash one of our maps we don't mess with the system switches, save for a rare intermittent iOS bug we're working through, and you should be good to go. If it's not functioning per usual, contact me through email at FPPro@vanceandhines.com and let me the last 6 of your VIN after completing the following procedure:
1) Navigate to the Customer Support Menu from the Main Menu
2) Select Vance & Hines Support
3) Scroll down and press Upload ECU Contents button
