2019 Heritage 107 engine, just took a 40 mile ride .Just enjoying the ride and when I got home I left it sit for 5 minutes so I could check the oil.Came out of the house and looked like a big puddle of oil under bike.Pulled out the dipstick and the o-ring was cut in two.Has anybody else had this occur? Looks like oil blowed out of the dipstick tube.I replaced the o-ring will ride tomorrow and see if problem is fixed if not off to dealer for warrantee work. Bike has 1500 miles bought new

Did you make any mods lately? Just recently I read someone changed an air cleaner and used solid bolts instead of banjos, and the blowby pressure caused a leak somewhere...
I have to original o-ring on my oil dipstick, but I have had to change my trans dipstick o-ring twice. Those tend to get pretty rough due to the sharp threads on the transmission. I'd say you simply had a bad o-ring from the start.
My dipstick o-ring is extremely tight. I would recommend priming it with oil from the stick each time you check it. And having a spare one with you. I know after reading this thread I'm going to be getting one for myself. Cheap insurance to make sure the bike isn't parked until a new one can be found.
Thanks for the replies, went for another ride and no oil out of the dipstick. So looks like that was the problem. The o-ring looked like it was sliced at an angle.Thankfully it did nor shred into more pieces.I had probaldy checked the oil at least 50 or more times.Guess that I will keep a spare in the saddlebags.
