Never heard of a Fuel injected engine getting vapor lock.
interesting. If this is true, people will be telling us its vapor lock, even though they have never seen it.
WHAT IS VAPOR LOCK?
Theres a reason why old-school car guys might not make the leap to vapor lock. Its a uniquely modern problem. Vapor lock happens when your fuel boils in your carburetor or your fuel line. Vaporized fuel creates back pressure in your fuel system and prevents gas from getting to your engine. It commonly occurs when a car has been idling or has been turned off and then back on. This problem has really ramped up in the last few decades because modern fuel is designed for fuel-injected engines and electric fuel pumps. Its boiling point is much lower than fuel blends of the past, and its more volatile.
That doesn't really seem to be the consensus here though, does it, turdbottom? There are differing, interesting and informative possible explanations being offered here. You know, the kind of thing that is supposed to happen on forums like this.
Are you following this, turdbottom?
Anyway, enough of this, thanks for the help guys, I appreciate it.
Yea plenty of different possibilities. Its a shame you didn't consider any of them. Even your ole lady had her own theory about it. Perhaps she knows you well enough to know that someone ****ing with your stuff is a plausible explanation. I think ill go with your ole ladies theory. Seems consistent with what ive seen of you douchebag.

What about the idea that fuel injected bikes don't have vapor locks? But you are so wound up about it? Ever have a fuel injected machine have a vapor lock? Anything actually?
Vapor lock is thrown around a lot, but I really don't know how common it is. Never known anyone with it actually.

Give it up turbo-turd. You're on the wrong thread in the first place and you're just annoying people and making a fool of yourself.

Vapor lock was big back in the 40's 50's 60's. Even 70's. Design and technological advances kind of eliminated it. But some shade mechanics can still build it into their creations.

So much is, people repeating something they heard of. When ever you have an electrical problem, so many tell you it must be a ground. How manyu have ever had a dirty ground, in the last 30 years? Not to mention it take a + and -. I suspect we will be talking about vapor locks for a long time. Not a pro, but I know more people with failed TC tensiors, than vapor lock. And they tell us, that is internet hysteria.
