My advice for anyone getting bars on a 2018+ softail... put the bars on first. Measure and then get the upper abs and clutch.
Doing this you will also be able to check the wire length for the electricals with the actual bars.
doing it this way will let you dial in exactly what you need, the upper clutch and abs are pretty easy installs.
wiring the bars can be much harder, if apes consider going with a turn signal relocation. Also consider cruise control or heated grips at this time. Take your time...
just doing the upper lines is a huge bonus for having the new models, take advantage of it. No reason to get into the clutch or brake parts and no need to take off anything with a gasket. The new upper clutch even self adjusts.
i know it’s in our nature to want all parts on hand but I really advise mounting the bars first and getting an easy measurement that way...
Anyone know the diameter of the stock bars at the clamp & where they neck down. Looking to add a Tackform phone mount and need to know which mount I will need.
