I have been having problems with my 18 SG not starting. When I turn on the ignition switch nothing comes on or sometimes just the head light and turn signals come on. Bike won't crank or anything. I am working with HD to resolve the problem but was wondering if anyone had heard of others having the same issue. I bought it used and previous owner had installed LED head lamp and turn signals. HD had all the LED's removed thinking that might be a cause. NOPE!! still having the same issue. At this point I don't have much faith that HD really knows what the problem is and how to fix it. Any suggestions and/or comments welcome!!
I think I have a similar problem with my 2019 Low Rider. Some times nothing turns on at all and sometimes the lights come on. When I push the starter, everything just dies. It doesn't even sound like it's attempting to start. When I turn the engine cut off switch off then back on, nothing happens. I charged the battery a few times and had the same problem. Then I left it for a day (without charging it) and it started with some difficulty. Today it started up perfectly. If it starts tomorrow then I'm dropping it off at the dealership. I'll post here if they can find out what the problem is.
Thanks Herrick. I look forward to hearing back. I've had it to dealer several times. They still can't figure it out. The last time they gave it back to me was after they removed the LED'S. They told me that should fix it. I was told to ride it and if it happened again they would be there with support to help out anyway they can. Went for a ride today and got stranded in a parking lot. Called HD and since no local dealers were open they told me it was up to me to get the bike and myself back home!! **** POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

That is really unacceptable. What did you end up doing? The least they should do is reimburse you if you had it towed.
My bike started up perfectly today and I took it to the dealership. The service guy checked for error codes and said there was a low voltage error code. He said since the bike is working fine, there was no sense in leaving it at the dealership and to bring it back if it happens again. That was disappointing to hear. I really don't trust this bike. For now, I'll connect my Battery Tender Jr. and order a jump starter.

Hey man could you email me or text me if Harley fixed your Low Rider. I am having the exact problem you are having. Jack 813-735-9097 thejackgraves13@gmail.com. Thank you
When I got my brand new SG2021 the left front turn signal didn't work. I also had a low leak from the oil filter gasket. The turn signal was wired backwards and the oil filter was way over tightened. The bike had 30 miles on it (probably some demo riding). Thankfully I didn't buy the bike from the dealer that had it in stock and apparently they didn't check diddly squat when they set the bike up. The dealer I purchased it from fixed it with warranty funds and no questions asked. Your problem may be in the hand control... they are just a circuit board with a switch connected to the board. Plenty of potential for moisture problems.
