Seat Change
Factory Hammock seats only come as 2-ups. The Sundowner looks comfortable, but only comes as a solo for the Heritage / Deluxe. If a Heritage solo seat pan fits the Slim frame and fender, with just a change for the rear bracket, that would open up a whole new range of factory and aftermarket possibilities.
Has anyone done this, or does anyone know if it is possible?
I've bookmarked UncleG's spring seat conversion, which is an alternative route, but a bit more expensive with the frame cover to protect the electrics in UK weather and still might not be comfortable enough. The Harley Tax?!

Although it is a bit pricey, I do find that I really like the sprung seat modification I made. You do sit higher, and I needed to go to a 21" windshield as a result. I do appreciate the extra legroom, even with my relatively short legs. The springs really do smooth out the ride a bit, and the saddle is nicely shaped. You DO have to hang on to the bars when you grab the throttle, though, as there's nothing to hold you to the saddle. Still, all good fun.
