Cool Buzzing in the seat ...

the Buzzing in the seat...can also be a timing/AFR issue ...if i was considering that bike , i would make them check the tune before taking delivery , or select another bike !!!
the map/tune should be strong but smooth at any an all throttle openings ...
good luck ...

I'm 68 and have a 2018 Heritage, purchased new. Just turned 10k miles today. Love it. I moved the handlebars back a bit (1-inch?) and found a bit more comfort. I'm 5'8" barefooted and only weigh 160 lbs. I have done a bit of touring on it and found it quite acceptable. I'm also a solo rider and found 400+ mile days to be ok. Went out to the Black Hills last August. 2875 miles in 9 days and the old bones handled it fine.

The Heritage with the new frame and suspension gives a great ride as-is. The weight is about 125 pounds less than the Road Glide. The price is about $3700 less, too. The Heritage has a rigid mount motor which will yield a bit more "buzz", but I don't find it to be a problem. I changed to Avon air cushion grips to increase comfort a bit. I find the seat to be great.

Well if you all ready have 140000 miles on other bikes, I thinking you know what you want. Even though the Heritage is a nice bike, you said that 140000 was on touring bikes. That said maybe touring bike. Hell I'm 72 and ride a Ultra Limited 114. Don't let the dealer push you, if you got RG 107 your behind the 8 ball already when trade time comes because its not a 114. I would check other dealer in your area and see what they have also.

Not to throw another opinion in the mix, but is the Road Glide 107 with reflex truly the last one anywhere near you in inventory, are there truly no dealers anywhere with that bike in stock within driving distsnce? I just hate to see people lose negotiation options when they are forced to make a decision under pressure. I understand that COVID-19 is affecting production and that is what every single dealer in the US is going to use as an overplayed sales tactic between now and 2021.

Any good dealer would let you take a long extended ride on a heritage to really get a feel if you are deciding between the two, the typical 15 minute test rides just don't let you get a real feel... Best of luck, and great to hear you were able to get back into riding again.

Good questions. This would be my sixth Harley and the third from this dealer - zero sales pressure and a fair deal, including free $1k service. Added bonus - dealership is 15 minutes from my home. The push also is generated by me as I've missed out on riding the past 2.5 years and am eager to get back in the saddle.

I have the 2020 Heritage 114 and it's the best bike I've ever owned. Then again I've never wanted a touring bike.

I tilted my bars back -- on another bike, but this is still relevant -- about two or three inches and it made a WORLD of difference. Two or three inches on a motorcycle can make a huge difference.

I went from an RGU to a Heritage 114 and couldnt be happier. My Heritage has -0- buzzing and is possibly the best bike I owned

Update: I am going to test ride the actual Heritage 114 I would purchase. The dealer will move the bars inward before the test. Based on the comments, I'm confident the buzzing I felt in the seat was unusual and not typical. Weather not currently cooperating but I'll keep my fingers crossed.

When you moved the bars back towards you an inch did you have to reposition the controls at all?
